I have 16 years of experience in the tech industry in both public and private sectors and have worked in a broad range of fields that include tech support, computer hardware repair, hardware and software procurement, software development, DevOps, NetOps, and system administration. I am currently a Solutions Engineer at California State University, East Bay.
I studied Multimedia and Interaction Design at California State University, East Bay where I received both my B.A. ’07 and M.A. ’19. My undergrad studies included coding, video and audio editing, 2D animation, 3D modeling and animation, graphic design and illustration. My graduate studies included Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, programming, IoT electronic engineering, iterative prototyping, Human Computer Interactions, and UI/UX.
My hobbies include working on DIY IoT projects, exploring new worlds in Virtual Reality, retro gaming, reading and watching anything science and speculative fiction, learning about current and emerging technologies, running marathons, and spending time with my wife and son.
